• Install stabilising grids in heavily trampled areas: in front of the building, around drinkers and feed racks and on access roads.
• The surface area to be covered depends on the length of the animals. For cattle and horses, it is recommended to install at least 3 m of tiles around the gathering points (drinker, feed rack…) For sheep and goats, approximately 2 m will do.
• On clayish soils or if you want to restrict revegetation on the stabilised area, first place a geomembrane on the bottom before fi lling it up with rubble. Note that this prevents deep rooting.
